Buoy Toy

On Republican Representative Randy Cunningham

resigning from Congress after pleading guilty to taking at least
$2.4 million in bribes
:

“Mr. Cunningham, who is known as Duke, lived while in Washington on a
42-foot yacht, named the Duke-Stir, owned by one of the military
contractors that received tens of millions of dollars in federal
contracts that prosecutors said Mr. Cunningham helped steer its way.”

Uh, what was their first clue? And are unnamed “co-conspiritors” 1-4 (listed in the

plea agreement
) also going to be prosecuted for bribing
a public official, etc., or is Cunningham taking the fall?

  1. Montag says:

There was also the military style hummer he commuted around DC in nicknamed the Duke-inator. And, one contract to develop a proposal for a so-called “Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb” was dubbed by the contractor with the in-house project name Daisy-Duke Cutter, which was to be a little bit more than just a good sharp pair of scissors to make denim ‘cut-offs.’ There was also my personal favorite: the silver, coach-style, bullet-shaped, campaign bus dubbed by campaign workers with the moniker the Duke-pedo.
